Lentils if you want to eat, or leave them

Lentils are nutritious and inexpensive, lentils are a good source of protein, especially when combined with rice, they combine with all kind of vegetables, are rich in easily absorbed iron and carbohydrates are absorbed very slowly.
before you start cooking, best left to soak for a couple of hours.
This week I've made them with:
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 bay leaf
  • onion
  • carrot and
  • pumpkin
The non vegetarian ingredient added is diced chorizo and of course, salt, water and olive oil.
